This week was quite fun learning, I think. Starting with this week’s discussion question The topic was on Closing Case 1 that is the Stitch Fix. From this discussion, we learned that how Stitch fix can be useful. We learned that how Stitch fix employs data scientists when it starts operating in the fashion appraisal market. We also got to know about the E-business model which is used in Stitch Fixing. We also learned about how the customer can be delivered the clothes of their choice without any kind of measurement or any kind of details gathering. We also discussed how we can combine a unique set of algorithms and a unique set of personalization that can be used to create a new kind of company. Finally, we gained knowledge of why data and customer feedback are important in the Stitch fix business model. The second discussion question was on Chapter 3’s Closing case 2 that is Hootsuite. Exploring the sub-question in these was quite beneficial.
